Sciaphila tenella Blume

First description by Blume (1825) and herewith the type species for the genus. Giesen (1938) still differentiated between S. tenella and S. erubescens described by Miers (1852) but already pointed to the possibility that they may be conspecific. The conspecificity was acertained by van de Meerendonk (1984), accepted by Ohashi et al. (2008).
