Thismia brunneomitra Hroneš, Kobrlová & Dančák

Thismia brunneomitra is described by Hrones et al. (2015) from Brunei Darussalam. Since it has three tepals connate to build a mitre, a coralloid root-rhizome system, and three floral bracts subtending the flower, it belongs to the section Sarcosiphon  Thismia brunneomitra is closest to T. episcopalis, but differs in having only one (rarely two) flower per emerging shoot, short processes at the apex of the mitre, differences in the connective appandages and the blackish color of the  perianth.
