Monotropa uniflora L.
Described by Linné (1753, Vol.1, page 387-388). Accepted by Wallace (1995). The synonymy list is not as long as the one of M. hypopitys, but also comprises 13 names. Monotropa uniflora occurs in the north and east of northern America, in Central America as well as in the himalayan region and east Asia.
