Thismia sitimeriamiae Siti-Munirah, Dome & Thorogood

Thismia sitimeriamiae is found so far only at its type location near the mountain Gunung Sarut in the Hulu Nerus Forest Reserve in the state Terengganu of Malaysia. It was described in Siti-Munirah et al. (2021). It resembles Thismia coronata and T. kelabitiana in overall appearance (orange-yellow colour, fused mitre without appandages, fringe-like outer tepals, coralloid root system), but differs distinctly in many details. Most obvious are the simple and stellate hairs at the outer surface of the corolla including mitre and annulus, but also form and sculpturing of connectives, mitre, style and stigmas differ from its congeners.
