Epirixanthes elongata Blume

First description by Blume (1823) on page 82, mentioning three species: E. elongata, E. cylindrica, E. linearis. E. elongata and E. cylindrica are accepted by van der Meijden (1988), E. linearis is synonymous to E. elongataTsukaya and Okada (2012) reported an albino form (Epirixanthes elongata f. alba) of this species from Betung Kerihun National Park in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
