Voyriella (Miquel) Miquel 1851

First description as Voyria parviflora in a new section Voyriella by Miquel (1849), later transferred by Miquel (1851) to the new genus Voyriella. Accepted by Maas and Ruyters (1986). The latter authors united two formerly segregated species, V. parviflora and V. oxycarpha described by Sandwith (1931), due to numerous transitional forms as well as local co-occurrence, and set Voyriella oxycarpha to synonymy.
